SAB Foundation Tholoana Programme

The SAB Foundation Tholoana Programme is Fetola’s flagship programme which they designed and implemented in partnership with SAB. It is one of the most visible and impactful programmes of its kind in South Africa and has helped over 150 emerging businesses attain new levels of success as a result of the programme.

Tholoana is a two-year programme offering those who participate access to skilled mentors, practical workshops and training, market access support, investment readiness, finance, a peer support network, as well as various additional ventures that, together, are the foundation for suitable growth. The programme was developed in close partnership with the SAB Foundation, and focuses on rural businesses, and those run by women and the youth. Since its inception, the SAB Foundation Tholoana Programme has delivered an average growth rate per business of 47.2% across all intakes.
